Dr. Radha Anand

Dr. Radha Anand is very experienced and passionate about Dry Eye Disease. She performs very detailed Dry Eye Analysis allowing her to tailor dry eye therapies for each individual patient. She is also experienced in performing a wide variety of dry eye treatments such as Miboflo, RF (Radio Frequency), IPL (intense Pulse Light), Lipiflow, Blephex, Punctal Plug Insertions, as well as therapeutic Meibomian Gland Expressions. Dr. Anand has extensive experience performing comprehensive ocular examinations as well as problem-focused eye exams. She is very passionate about educating her patients about all of their options.

Dr. Anand graduated from the University of Calgary in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences and a Minor in Chemistry. She then went on to graduate from the Illinois College Of Optometry in 2008, where she received a Doctorate of Optometry, Cum Laude, with Clinical and Academic Honours. She completed externships focusing on pediatric ocular examinations and vision therapy (Southport, CT), ocular disease and low vision examinations (Jamaica Plains Veteran’s Hospital – Boston, MA), ocular disease and low vision examinations (Detroit Veteran’s Hospital – Detroit, MI), and ocular emergency along with specialty contact lens, and primary care examinations (Illinois College Of Optometry – Chicago, IL).

Dr. Anand is fluent in English and conversational in Hindi and Punjabi. During her spare time she enjoys playing and watching hockey (Go Flames Go!), the outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, cooking, reading, swimming, and shopping.
